Anil Rajaram Yesugade has been cultivating grapes for the last 8-10 years. He grows two varieties of Grapes- Manik Chaman and Super Sonka.

As grapes are very sensitive crops, the change in climate causes the occurrence of diseases like downy, powdery mildew and blight and to control them he had to use chemical fungicides every 10-12 days. Similarly, he had to work very hard to control insects that attack the crop like mealybugs, spiders, weevils, mites, aphids, etc. Excessive use of fertilizers and herbicides had made the soil barren and had brought down the number of friendly insects and bacteria in the soil.

In his grapes crop this season, Yesugade used Biofit N.P.K. and Shet once every month, which improved the texture of the soil and the availability of the nutrients increased and all of this had a positive impact on the crop.

Once the pruning and setting of the grape bead were done, he sprayed Biofit Steamrich and Bio-99 twice at an interval of 20 days, which resulted in excellent growth of the grapes seed/bunch.
Differences between the previous grape crop and Biofit grape crop
Previous grape crop :
  • Production cost/acre: Rs.2,30,000
  • Average production ton/acre: 12 ton
  • Market Rate/quintal: Rs.2800 quintals
  • Total production/acre: Rs.3,36,000
  • Net profit/acre: Rs.1,06,000
Biofit grape crop :
  • Production cost/acre: Rs 2,20,000
  • Average production ton/acre: 13.5 ton
  • Market rate/quintal: Rs.3000 quintals
  • Total production/acre: Rs.4,05,000
  • Net profit/acre: Rs.1,85,000
To hinder the advent of fungus and succulent pests, Yesugade sprayed Biofit Wrapup and Biofit Intact at an interval of 15-20 days.

As a result, due to the use of Biofit in his field the immunity of Yesugade's grape crop escalated in the current year and it also reduced the cost of chemicals.
