Mr. Dattatray Bhagwan Gaikwad has been harvesting various crops (like tomatoes, capsicums, marigolds, ginger, sugarcane, etc.) at his field for last 13 years. In 2019-20, He planted guavas (barafkhana) in his field. He started cultivating using manure as well as chemical fertilizers.
Using the Biofit Products: Mr. Gaikwad used the organic products of Biofit for his 1.5 acres of Guava orchards as advised by Netsurf Network. He used Biofit Stimrich & Wrap up at the initial planting stage so the plants rooted very well. At the vegetative stage, when the plants had 3-5 leaves he sprayed Biofit Stimrich, Bio-99 and SHET products in every 20-25 days for about 6-7 times. It really helped the plants to grow further to the budding stage.

  • Cost of farm production per 1.5 acres of land: Rs. 65,000 to 80,000
  • The average harvest: 10 to 12 tones
  • The Selling Rate: Rs. 15/Kg
  • Net Profits per 1.5 acre: Rs. 1,05,000 (on an average)
  • The Soil Conditions: Chemical Fertilizers made the soil hard.
Guava Fruit Yield After using Biofit:
  • Cost of farm production per 1.5 acres of land: Rs. 65,000 to 70,000
  • The average harvest: 14 to 15 tones
  • The Selling Rate: Rs. 17/Kg
  • Net Profits per 1.5 acre: Rs. 1,60,000 (on an average)
  • The Soil Conditions: The soil became humorous with increased no. of earthworms.
Resultantly, maximum flowers transformed into fruits throughout the flowering and ripening stage. Meanwhile, he also used Biofit SHET and NPK via drip irrigation in every month. This really helped him to reduce his expenses over the chemical fertilizers. Also the soil became quite healthy & productive. This year, the Biofit range of products really helped Mr. Gaikwad to grow 900 Guava trees fruiting with an average of 15 to 20 Kgs of guavas per tree. So he harvested around 14 to 15 tonnes of Guava fruit during the year. His fruits also fetched the rate of Rs. 17 per Kg.
