Mr. Zahir Abbas Mandal has started using Biofit Aqua products in his aquaculture practice since last 2 months. He started using Biofit Aqua Clear with a dosage of 1 kg per acre of pond fro 3 times with an interval of 15 days for his cultivation of Rohu (Labeo rohita), mrigal carp and catla fishes. He also used the product Biofit Aqua Culture with a dosage of 1 litre per acre for 2 times. He simultaneously used Biofit Aqua Feed products with the fish feed with a dosage of 10 grams per 1 kg. He has been largely benefitted using Biofit Aqua products for aquaculture.
Aqua Clear helped to reduce the ammonia substances in the water and to increase the oxygen levels. It also improved the physical properties of the pond waters. Aqua Culture reduced the issue of muddiness of water and supported the decomposition of biological components in it. It improved the metabolism of fishes. Aqua Feed helped to reduce the nutritional deficiencies of protein, minerals and vitamins in fishes. It improved the weight of the fishes and controlled their mortality rate. As a result Mr. Mandal witnessed a great benefit in his aquaculture within 2 months.
Comparison between previous aqua farming and Biofit aqua farming-
Previous aqua farming:
- Cost per 1 acre: Rs. 10,000- 12,000
- The average harvest: 2 to 2.5 quintal
- The Selling Rate: Rs. 100-120/ per Kg
- Net Profits per acre: Rs 25,000 – 30,000
Biofit aqua farming:
- Cost per 1 acre: Rs. 6,000- 7,000
- The average harvest: 4.5 –5 quintal
- The Selling Rate: Rs. 150-170/ per Kg
- Net Profits per acre: Rs 50,000 to 60,000
One of his biggest issues of fishes’ mortality was overcome. His expenditure over the antibiotics and synthetic chemical-based medicines was under control. Mr. Mandal harvested more fish produce in last 2 months compared to that of the earlier period. The Biofit Aqua product is quite satisfactory to him.
